The Message in a Bottle scheme is a simple idea that encourages people to keep their basic personal and medical details in a common place where they can easily be found in an emergency. The information is kept in a bottle which itself is kept in the fridge where the emergency services will expect to find it in the event of being called to your home.
They will know you have a bottle by two labels. One is fixed on the inside of the front door of the main entrance to your home, and the other to your fridge door.
The scheme is FREE, all costs have been paid for by the Lions Club who have received a generous donation from Flintshire County Council and Flintshire Local Health Board.
Bottles can be picked up from Health Centres, Doctors' Surgeries and Chemists who should have supplies. If you have difficulty, please fill in the feedback form under the Contact Us link, and we will arrange delivery (Please note: Only Flintshire Residents are eligible, those outside the area should contact their local Lions Clubs - please feel free to enquire where they are if you are not sure, again by using our Feedback Form, stating your Post Code).
